Headlands Research, a multinational network of clinical research sites, has launched a new clinical trials site in El Paso, Texas, US.

The site, aiming to reach the traditionally underserved Hispanic population, will focus on metabolic/endocrine, healthy volunteer/vaccine and pain clinical trials. The El Paso site will join 19 fully owned sites across US and Canada, which house more than 50 physicians and over 550 clinical research staff.

Kyle Burtnett, CEO of Headlands Research, stated: “At Headlands Research, our goal remains the same: to improve clinical research and accelerate therapeutic development. I am confident that our new site, under Dr Ryan Casey’s leadership, will help support this goal, getting innovative treatments to a population historically left out of clinical research.”
