PrecisionLife has appointed seasoned executive Bill Keating as chief commercial officer of Diagnostics and Healthcare to drive commercial strategy for precision medicine.
Bill Keating has over 20 years in senior corporate and business development roles at companies including Philips Healthcare, Zephyr AI and Foundation Medicine, and as such has a proven record of driving market adoption for diagnostic applications. His role at PrecisionLife will be pivotal in advancing clinical applications and first-in-class precision medicine tests with the aim to predict and prevent chronic diseases.
Bill Keating commented: “I am thrilled to join PrecisionLife at such a transformative time. I’m impressed by its unique ability to deliver mechanism-based insights and risk prediction in a massively scalable way across over 50 complex, chronic diseases. Our test platform and clinical decision support tool is making personalised treatment recommendations possible in multiple diseases for the first time. This has significant transformational impact for healthcare – predicting and preventing chronic diseases, maximising patient outcomes, and reducing the inefficiencies that arise from inaccurate referrals, ineffective prescriptions and progression of unmanaged disease.”
Steve Gardner, CEO of PrecisionLife, stated: “We’re delighted to welcome Bill to the PrecisionLife team at a pivotal time for the company. Our precision medicine solutions are enabling us to build pioneering clinical solutions with multiple international healthcare partners that provide rapid clinically actionable insights, and enhance patient care and outcomes in diseases that have lacked adequate diagnostic tools for far too long. Bill’s extensive experience in scaling companies with high revenue potential and deep understanding of the diagnostics landscape make him the perfect fit to drive our commercial growth.”
